Medallion Flyer Annual Audits Completed!

Congratulations to the 2006 Medallion Flyer Recipients! U.S. Senator Ted Stevens and FAA Administrator Marion Blakey honored the Medallion Foundation on August 5, 2006 as they presented the 2006 Medallion Flyers their certificates and pins. FAA Administrator Blakey was impressed by the participation and the increase of recipients of the Medallion Flyers since her last visit in 2005, where there were only two recipients. This year there were 27! Administrator Blakey said that the Medallion Flyer program is being noticed by the aviation community throughout the United States. U.S. Senator Stevens emphasized that the program is vital for safety in all aviation and that he hopes it will continue to grow. Both U.S. Senator Stevens and FAA Administrator Blakey proudly wore their Flyer Pins. Congratulations to all!
