Welcome Pilots

The Medallion Foundation's ATD's (Aviation Training Devices) provide pilots the opportunity to practice recognition and avoidance of the causes of accidents in flat-light, white-out and deteriorating visibility weather conditions.

NOTE: You must hold at least a student pilot certificate to use a Medallion ATD.

SCHEDULING:

LOG IN: http://medallionfoundation.org/ATDschedule.asp

Enter your username and password and then choose View Schedule

Choose a location and ATD and select a time (if you desire more than 2 hours adjust the times).

At the bottom of page and click "SAVE" and then click "Return to Scheduler to verify your reservation."

Please cancel if you cannot make the time you scheduled. Follow the same process to cancel as for scheduling.

BATD's: Available software includes; X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Edition) and ELITE. An instruction manual is onsite and also online.

Four-Screen Flight Sim X: These feature three 27 inch monitors for the outside view for enhanced CFIT training, and a smaller monitor for the instrument panel. Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Edition). An instruction manual is located onsite.

Five-Screen X-Plane: These feature three 27 inch monitors for the outside view for enhanced CFIT training, two smaller monitors show the instrument panel and instructor station. X-Plane version 9.5. An instruction manual is located onsite.

Rotary Wing ATD The FLYIT simulator is usually located in Anchorage at the Tom Wardleigh Training Center. Call the Medallion office (907-743-8050) to verify the location of this simulator before scheduling. An instruction manual is located onsite and online.
